What happens when a writer's strike stops production on a major motion picture? The actors and crew are forced to take refuge in a luxurious Mediterranean hotel, of course! How distressing! What ever will they do? And how will the local staff manage to keep their sanity? Find out in Merely A Dumb Show! This new play, written by Brandon Bacorn and inspired by Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, will have its premiere reading by the Drama Group of Germantown, under the direction of DGG’s Technical Director, Becca Begnaud.
There will be a talkback with the playwright following the April 16th performance!
