The Drama Group of Germantown presents Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening, adapted and directed by CJ Higgins. First published in 1891 and the basis for the hit Broadway musical, this searing play has a history of being banned and censored since its premiere due to its honest depiction of teenagers coming of age in a sexually-repressive society.
